This is the first Spanish short film that participates in this category in 16 years of Mobile SIFF. 21st of May 2013. The “Mobile SIFF” (Shanghai International Film Festival) has selected the short documentary film ‘Pachamama’ (Mother Earth) to participated in the 16th edition, which will take place between the 17th and 23rd of June.
The film will be screened as part of the “Special Screening for Outstanding Shorts”, which aims to give visibility to works by new talents that use the most advanced technologies.
‘Pachamama (Mother Earth)’ is a documentary produced by the Seville-based company ENPAPE PRODUCCIONES S.L, which is a member of the Andalusian Digital and Audiovisual Cluster (CLAND), and is directed by Antonio Sánchez Galey. It takes you on a NATURAL journey all over America, focusing on terrestrial and marine ecosystems from across the region.
Another film from the same company, “Waterland”, swiftly became a finalist for a prize at “La Termica” during the “JamesonNotodoFilmFest” competition, one of the most important in our country.
The “Mobile SIFF” is considered the most up-and-coming Asian festivals/ markets at international level, and has even been compared to events such as the Berlinale or Cannes Film Festival.
